François Lim

Born in South Korea in 1959, François Lim graduated from Fine Arts School in Seoul. When he arrives in France, he settles in the south, he spends there ten years, everything for him is new, the architectures, the plants clinging to the walls, the plants... and especially the subtlety of the lights specific to the climate Mediterranean.

And beyond that, he was trying to penetrate the mystery of the colors that constantly metamorphose at the border between light and dark. Today, he uses his sensitivity to reveal, to capture this banal and brief, yet comfortable moment. His aesthetic ideal is to capture in a snapshot the forms created furtively by the light that we pass without seeing most of the time. And finally, to express, through this shot, the inspiration and harmony that exist between light and shadow.
